Dr Ned Restom is the co-founder of Smile On Clinics and the Australasian Implant Academy (AIA), one of the most prestigious academies in the field of implantology. Ned is a pioneer and leader in the field of complex implant dentistry, and he founded Avoca Beach Dental in June 2010 with a mission of delivering high-quality, comprehensive dental services to the residents of the Central Coast.
Ned is accredited by Healthe Care to perform implant reconstructive surgery under general anaesthetics. He is also one of only three Australians to become diplomates of the American Board of Oral Implantology (ABOI).
Ned is an aerobatic pilot and an aviation fanatic. He is a very active member of the Central Coast Aero Club, and is sponsor of the Paul Bennet Air show.
A bit more about Dr Ned Restom
Ned graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Sydney in 2000, continuing his study and undertaking a Bachelor of Dentistry through the University of Sydney where he graduated in 2004.
In 2005, Ned completed accreditation through the Australian Society of Implant dentistry, and in 2017 he completed the Master Series in Implant dentistry at the Brenner Institute.
He has also completed the master series in Implantology at the California Implant Institute and the surgical externship component including the live All on 4 surgical program.
This ongoing commitment to training and development has allowed him to provide his patients with the latest implant technology and increase his clinical skills to address complex cases in oral implantology.
Ned is a firm believer in continuing his education, allowing him to remain at the forefront of the dental industry. He enjoys the pursuit of new evidence-based treatments in an effort to deliver the most innovative dental solutions to his patients.
