This night of ’80s hits is a fun way to support his fundraising efforts, and show off your own dance moves. In his role as a dentist, Dr. Sproll actively conducts screenings for oral cancer, contributing to patient education and aiding in rehabilitation during and after cancer treatment.
- Wondering about the appearance of oral cancer? Early lesions might be painless, but late-stage symptoms can bring about pain, discomfort, and restricted function. Keep an eye out for mixed red-white lesions, swelling, persistent ulcers, or masses in the mouth.
- Who is susceptible to oral cancer? Smoking and alcohol consumption remain notable risk factors. However, the threat of developing oral cancer extends to everyone, irrespective of age, gender, or known risk factors. Notably, oral cancer is on the rise among younger age groups, particularly younger Caucasian women, and a majority lack the typical risk factors.
